In the continuity of the publication of this journal, I welcome you to this second issue of the third volume for 2012. It gives me immense pleasure to let you know that this issue consists of some research-oriented and well-informed articles such as Gentamicin-Loaded monoolein gels, Antiulcer activity of Sooktyn, Microporous osmotic tablets, Reversed phase HPLC method, Anti-inflammatory effects of green tea and black tea, and Transfersomal gel of ketoconazole.

The Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER) presents their compliments and wishes to you along with an invitation to attend SPER 1 st Annual Conference on "PharmaVision: Raising awareness towards recent advancement in pharmaceutical research" scheduled to be held on June 23, 2012 at Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR), New Delhi, India.

The conference has been jointly in collaboration with IFTM University, Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), India, and Journal of Advanced Pharmaceutical Technology and Research (JAPTR) and supported by APTI, IPGA, BIT Meerut, APP, and Pharmanext.

The conference will deliberate on the raising awareness toward recent advancement in pharmaceutical research.

The key honorable speakers for this conference includes Prof. (Dr.) Roop K. Khar, Jamia Hamdard, Prof. (Dr.) S. H. Ansari, Jamia Hamdard, Prof. (Dr.) B. P. Srinivasan, DIPSAR, Mr. Atul Nasa, President, IPGA, New Delhi.

Poster/oral session is being organized and those who wish to present their poster/oral are requested to register themselves for the conference and submit the abstract well before the deadline.

During SPER Conference, SPER Young Scientist Award, SPER Eminent Teacher Award, SPER Innovative Researcher Award, SPER Best Student awards (for UG, PG, and Ph.D. Scholar), and Best Poster awards (3 awards each for Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry) will be given.
